  The 咨询 Center is located on the 1st floor of the Main Building (rooms 104 & 106) 和 is open to all MSM students.

  On-call emergencies: 917-493-4000

  Counselors see students by appointment booked through the MSM 咨询 Center Scheduling Form. Please fill out this form if you are looking to meet with one of our counselors.

  College life can bring both ups 和 downs for students. Some situations students encounter will be small 和 manageable, others may be moderate 和 increase anxiety or impact mood. At MSM, students are not alone. In addition to our Resident Assistants, Director of 居住生活, Director of Student Engagement 和 Dean of Students, we also have the Manhattan School of Music 咨询 Center.

  The 咨询 Center offers each student 8-10 free sessions of short-term, 保密 counseling. If longer term treatment would be helpful or is necessary, the psychologist working with the student will provide a recommendation.

Whether you have a medical question that needs answering or an ongoing medical issue that needs some attention, the 校园 健康 Nurse Office is a good place to start!

  • 健康 和 wellness services are available free of charge (insurance is NOT required to visit the office) to both residential 和 non-residential students 周一 through 星期五 during the academic school year.

  Services provided include:

  • Basic first aid 和 triage for minor injuries, acute illnesses 和 mental health concerns
  • Coordination 和 case management of students’ health needs
  • Education 和 counseling on wellness, 营养, 性健康, 妇女的健康, ”+健康, 旅行者的健康, 和 management of chronic conditions
  • 健康 education 和 the promotion of a healthy lifestyle
  • Linkage to community health resources 和 services.

  The 校园 健康 Nurse can help refer you to providers in the area. A partial list is available 在这里.
